Requiescat in Pace
The Canonry of Saint Leopold, together with the clergy and people of St Patrick, St Rocco and St Hyacinth, join with the whole Church in praying for the peaceful repose of the soul of the late Holy Father, Pope Francis.
Especially in the most holy Easter Season, we are consoled and cheered, even in sadness, by the promise of the Resurrection which we celebrate.
Eternal rest give onto Pope Francis, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace. May his soul, and the souls of the faithful departed, rest in peace.
Because during the Octave of Easter, the week following the Resurrection, the liturgical emphasis must be only on the Risen Christ, it is not permitted to celebrate memorial or requiem Masses, even for a deceased Pope.
On Monday, 28 April, at 7:00 pm, Bishop Barres will celebrate a Memorial Mass at St Agnes Cathedral for Pope Francis. All are cordially invited to attend.
We are in the process of planning a Requiem Mass for Pope Francis here; as soon as plans are finalized, we will let everyone know.
It is strongly recommended that, in addition to the other prayers we all offer for Pope Francis, that we pray daily an Our Father, a Hail Mary, and a Glory Be.

ATTENTION: On Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of Easter Week (April 21, 22, and 23) there will be only one daily Mass, at St Patrick, the Territorial Parish, at 9:00 am. There will be no Low Mass/Adoration/Confession on Wednesday of Easter.
